Job Description:
A Procurement and Risk Management Representative will have the primary role of managing the daily operations of the Procurement and Risk Management Department. Specifically ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local rules/regulations; as well as maintaining vender agreements and insurance needs as they pertain to Risk Management. A Representative will have the daily job functions of overseeing activities of the legal bid process, informal quotations, and proposals; develop bid specifications, with terms and conditions, while assuring compliance in relation to ethical and legal purchasing practices. Lastly, a Procurement and Risk Management Representative will supervise the processing of Board of Commissioners agenda items such as the approval of contracts, resolutions, and personnel service agreements by the Board and ultimately overseeing file maintenance of contract files and accompanying documentation.
Education:
Bachelors Degree in Public Administration, Business Administration or Economics
Experience Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience within the role
Excellent skills in Microsoft Office
